I'd like to find more information about the Bt8x8 tweaker options available. There a just a few too many checkboxes and very little information available of what they really do.
From Peach Smoother helpfile:
If you’re using a Bt8x8 card, you can turn off Odd and Even Luma Peaking. Turning on the card’s Horizontal Filter will reduce noise but will also lose some detail.
Where is that horizontal filter? Turning off odd and even lumapeaking : does this mean unchecking both boxes next to "enable luma peaking" ?
However, this was found from Luke's Video capture guides:
The only two options you may wish to experiment with are "Full luminance range" and "Luma peaking". Enabling the full luminance range theoretically could result in better color detail, but I couldn't see any difference. Enabling both checkboxes for Luma peaking and moving the odd/even sliders to the right has a slight sharpening effect on the video. However, the video noise is also sharpened, so you're probably better off using a sharpen filter in post-processing.
