Question for the Encoding pros

How do you separate the MAIN MOVIE from a FULL DVD RIP (vobs and all) and frameserve it into CCE? I've only done it from an M2v file after ripping it in IFO mode. I need to know how to do it from FILE mode for the guide I'm using. I know the basics of DVD2AVI and AVISYNTH usage and have done that before. Just need to know how to do it after ripping it in FILE mode.
Basically I'm trying to CCE the main movie and let IC7 do the other stuff and once CCE is done, bring it all together again as one BIG happy VOB family :D Just don't know how to separate it.

u have to locate the vobs that make the movie, create a d2v project from that set and CCEit.

My suggestion. since u will reauthor the main movie why don't u do it as well for the extras. I figure the time u need for extracting the files from the pdi image and ifoupdating the whole dvd isn't worth it.

Isnt that what I'm doing with IC7? Im reducing (encoding) the extras down to a reasonable size with it and trying to CCE the main movie. ;)

Actually yes, but the quality of the extras would be much better when CCEd at the same reduction.

You are correct. But....
I figured out how to reduce the time involved Substantially! I reduced the extras with DVD2one. Works pretty sweet. Then I CCE'd the main movie. Cut my time involved by HALF. I'm pleased with the result and quality. Even works for a Multiple PGC movie! I'm pumped :)
