I'm trying to do movie only. I strip using dvd decrypter and I strip the audio except for the english 5.1 and english subtitle. I also keep all the VOBids. Once it's finished, I do the vts sectors and when I try playing the movie, it stops at 3 seconds into title 1. I try to have it jump to title 2 but it still goes to title 1. Any suggestions or do I need to give more info?

Also, I tried splitting the movie and ran into another problem. I haven't had this much trouble with a movie before. I won't go into detail on the splitting problem because I rather just do movie only.

why do you have more than 1 titleset?
are you burning dvd or is it stuck at 3 sec on comp player?
are you replacing any files with any others
just did SHA and kept 5.1 sound and movie only
no probs

My steps:

1) Decrypted the main movie files in file mode w/ dvd decrypter
2) Opened ifo w/ ifo edit and chose these options
a) Strip streams
b) Strip VobID's
c) Correct VOB-Unit
d) Correct original IFO files
e) Create new IFO files
f) All expert options checked except remove & adjust angle
pointers
3) I keep only dolby 5.1 and English subtitle
4) I keep all VOBids (I probably shouldn't choose strip vodids if I am going to keep them all :confused: )
5) When it's finished , I open the new ifo and click region free and remove p-ups and save.
6) I finish with get vts sectors

After all that, I click dvd play and that's when it stops after 3 seconds. I believe it says title 1, chapter 1. I made a mistake in my earlier desciption. I try to move to chapter 2 and not title 2 but it doesn't respond. I haven't tried burning yet since I can't get it to play with ifoedit.

Rework the ripped files on your hard drive. Delete all files except the vob's vts_01_1,2,3,4 etc etc, re-name them vts_01 if they are not. Then CREATE IFOs in IFOEDIT. "Close IFOEDIT". Re-open IFOEDIT, then get VTS SECTORS. Preview the DVD in IFOEDIT, test the navigation, fast forward, skip chapters etc etc. It should work fine. Try it in Power DVD, skip around in the chapters. If it plays okay, then burn it.


If thats not it, rip the source DVD again in file mode.

Open the directory you ripped to and change the vts_0?_0.ifo to vts_03_0.ifo so you dont overwrite it. If the .vob VTS are not 01 then re-name all the vob's to VTS_01_1 VTS_01_2 VTS_01_3 etc etc etc.

Then open up IFOEDIT and click create IFOs, select the first vob of title set VTS_01_1.vob create 1 pgc only, 1 chapter for each cell.

After its done, open up your vts_03_0.ifo, dbl click on VTS_PGCITI, dbl click on VTS_PGC_1 then open up subtitle color on the button bar and click copy colors from this pgc.

Open your VTS_01_0.ifo,dbl click on VTS_PGCITI, dbl click on VTS_PGC_1 then open up subtitle color on the button bar and click paste colors into this pgc, "then click SAVE".

Click on TOOLS, check DVDR size, its probably oversize, you can strip audio and subs and strip out about 300MB per 6 channel track.

Open your new VTS_01_0.ifo, in the lower screen look over the PGC for vob ID's V/c ID: 1/1 2/1 etc etc, then double click on v/c id's to preview if there are any you can strip as long as they have a unique vob ID, sometimes you get lucky and you can dump some leaders, warnings and credits, if they do, note the vob ID number for stripping, otherwise leave them alone and just click on vob extras to strip out the unwanted audio and sub title streams to decrease the file size.

Check off strip streams, strip VOB Id's "only if you found some unique id's to dump", correct vob unit pointers, correct original ifo files, check all expert options,auto copy menu files, and send it to a VIDEO_TS directory.

When its done, CLOSE IFOEDIT.

Re-open IFOEDIT and go to the new VIDEO_TS directory, open your new VTS_01_0.ifo and GET VTS sectors.

Open the newly saved VTS_01_0.ifo and preview it, test it out.
