I've encoded svcds from dvds for a while now, but i recently tried my first convert from divX. The first one went well, but the second one i tried last night came up with a checksum error in CCE. I tried it again and it came up with the same error. I tried checking the 'convert divx3 to divx4' box, ut still got the error.

I have had the error before in the past with DVD2SVCD, but I have installed the cce patch which previously rectified the situation.

Any ideas?

Presumably, you have already installed the common patch that should clear up checksum errors, correct? I'm clueless as to why the problem would persist assuming you have installed the patch...

Always search before posting. There are many threads on this subject.

While I agree that the patch will get rid of the error it is an indication of a problem and that root problem should be addressed. The patch is for those few that cannot solve this problem, which almost always is a hardware issue.

I will not get into the many things to try since you should find them with a search.
