I tried 2 reg settings to see if the longer analysis made any difference in quality aswell as size, deleting the discdata files everytime

I set it to 4.31 default size from a DVD of 7.82Gb @48.13%

run 1
DVDAnalyzeMaxRel is set to 100%
DVDAnalyzeMinAbs is set to 1000MB

resulting file 4.22Gb

run 2
DVDAnalyzeMaxRel is set to 5%
DVDAnalyzeMinAbs is set to 25MB (possible minimum values)

resulting file 4.24Gb

and I can say the quality is exactly the same even if I zoom right into pixels, so what a joke the analysis and reg settings are

I agree. A few other ones are useful but as far as what your talking about it sure seems to not affect or is it effect? the outcome either way.

Yeah I agree. This is the results of the testing that I did. I don't recall what the original size of the dvd was, but it was over 5gb. This is what resulted:

All Extras/Menus @ 30%, Movie @ 74.10%

MaxRel, SaveQuality, MinAbs, Resulting Size, Time
100%, 0%, 2200, 4.12gb, ~2 hours
100%, 0%, 1000, 4.12gb, ~2 hours
7%, 0%, 16, 4.11gb, ~8 mins
5%, 0%, 10, 4.09gb, ~3-5 mins

As you can see, its pretty much not worth it as the previous posts also suggest. I already had this data so I thought I would post it to reinforce what the others have said. It seems to be consistant from user to user.
