Hi,

I usually author my DVDs using Scenarist. It outputs a file with .dvd extension, which I rename to iso and then I burn the image with Ulead DVD/VCD Disc Image Recorder (BurnIxa - it's part of Ulead DVD Movie Factory )
When I need to copy disc or simply build an image i use DVD Wise.

The DVDs that are produces in this way have been so far playable in all DVD players. My only problem is that the Ulead Recorder doesn't support BurnProof and I lose many DVD-Rs. Espacially when I forget that I should not burn DVD, demultiplex mpgs, encode ac3 and rip DVDs at the same time :)

So is there any app that would burn those image files? I've tried nero but it says that i'm trying to burn a CD image to DVD...

Another thing is the incompatibility of DVDs produced by DVDXCopy.
There are two modes to be choosen. One is just External Nero Program the other one Defaut Burn Engine doesn't work for me. There is then a further option called "Alternate Player Compatibility Mode (UDF)".

Anyway, when the "Alternate..." is off the DVD produced are unplayable in my DVD player (Pioneer DV-454) but playable in my girlfriends player (a cheapo taiwan player). But then the "Alternate..." is on then the disc are playable in my DVD player but not playeble in my girlfriends dvd player.
Anyone knows if there can be anything done to make the DVDs playable in all DVD players?

Best Regards,

Maxiuca

Lightning_UK, just what I was going to say as well as VOB Instant CD/DVD. Some A03 were bundled with it.
