I've recently bought the panasonic E30 dvd-recorder.
In my pc i've also got a DVD-R and DVD-RAM burner.
My question. Can i burn my images on RAM disks to test if my image works correctly in my panasonic player and later burn it to DVD-R ?
Like this i don't waste DVD-R's on bad images !
Or is this impossible. If not, what software do i use to burn to ram's ? Can dvd-Decrypter do the job...

many thx !

Just give it a go.

Since it's a ram disc, in the event that it doesn't actually work you haven't lost a thing.

I know, that's what I will do, i was just checking if somebody knew the answer before i might have wasted an hour burning something that wouldn't work in the first place :)

It will not work. I tried it before. My guess is the player
expects VR mode if it detects a DVD-RAM disc. Therefore,
Video mode won't work.

Hmmm, i didn't even get this far. I couldn't even burn my image.
I tried it with DVD Decrypter, but it won't allow me to burn.
It's a shame, it would have been a good way to test since i don't own a RW writer...

You can't burn dvd-ram discs. Instead, you copy the directories and files to the disc.
Just make sure you've installed the dvd-ram driver.

I shall give it a try.. but i don't expect it to work since i have the feeling that the DMR-E20 is picky in what it plays...
