Angles without angle notification in playback

Is there a way to keep angles, but disable the angle notification icon that appears during playback on the standalone? I don't mind angles, but that angle icon bugs the heck out of me. I know removing the angles gets rid of it of course, but if there is a way to keep angles but disable that angle notification during playback on the standalone that would be awesome.

To be honest, I have not seen or experience a "angle icon". Maybe you can post a snapshot?

It doesn't appear in windvd, only when watching it on the standalone and tv. So maybe it's just my standalone. I think my last standalone did it too. I have a digital camera so I'll try to take a picture.

Just playing around a little in ifoedit, I see in VMG_PTT_SRPT in the Video_ts.ifo that for each title it says "Title_X:Number of angles.... with a number on the right. On the titles with no angles it has a 1, and the titles where there are angles it has a 2. Maybe simply editing that value from a 2 to a 1 will fix my problem while leaving the angle in there. Just an idea. I'll try it out next chance I get and post my results.

all of mine pop up if it senses an optional angle (disney)
it is a pain in the rump

It's not the standalone. The normal dvd has angles, but has no angle notification icon during playback on the standalone. It's only the backed up (or burned) movies that show it during playback, so it must be something in ifoedit that's doing it. There's probably something to edit somewhere with ifoedit that would fix it. Any ideas anyone?
