Hi,
Well i will try to explain whats going on.
I captured from a vhs video into a mjpg format which is the defaul format by pinnacle, it works perfect and gives me a 17.3 gig file at the end which is fine , but then when i try to save is as a avi file it gets to about 6.8 gig and then freeses.
I want to be able to do this so as to apply it DVD2SVCD to save all the mucking around.
I was told that it would be better to use vdub but it,s not reconising my card which is a Pinnacle dc10 plus, i was then told to try btwincap drivers but to no avil.
Maybe i have missed something simple , but i just don't understand why it creates a 6 gig avi and then crashes?
I'm running a p4 2.4 , Intel board , 1024 ddr 2700 mem , 2- 80 gig 7200 drives , gforce 2 leadtek card 64 mb , Pinnacle dc10 plus capture card .
If i go through the process and create 4 6 gig avi and loadf them into dvd2svcd the thing works fine , but hence 4 cd's instead of 2 if i could do it the other way .
Any help greatly appreciated.
