divx capturing from divx player: only black;-(

Hi,

I need to capture single frames from some divx I got; I tried using bsplayer itself (p key on keyboard) and some others players but nothing at all; I obtained just a black jpg!
I tried also using hypersnap pro but nothing again.
How could I do?

Open your .avi file in Virtual Dub (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Editing/VirtualDub-1.5.1.zip). Select the appropriate frame Use either Ctrl-1 or the "Video...Copy source frame to clipboard" command
