audio fade in and out with frame selection

i post this question after search and
read many threads and seems that
nobody ask about this before!

i'm trying to use the frame selection in dvd2svcd
but i don't know how can i fade in
and fade out the audio with this situation!

the tile is the question...
my english is horrible to explain better!

a direction will be fine too!

Hello!

It´s a good idea, but unfortunately only the half of your request is possible yet.

-Download the FadeIn v0.2 - plugin for besweet from DSPGuru here (http://dspguru.notrace.dk/FadeIn.zip).
-Copy the dll in the dvd2svcd\besweet - folder
-in the same directory create a batch - file with the following content:

besweet %* -plugin( -name BS_FadeIn.dll -func FadeInSlow )

-save it and choose it in dvd2svcd under the audio - tab as the besweet - executable.

This will add a fadein of appr. 3,5 sec. to every mp2, automatically created with dvd2svcd.
I know that it would be better if you could add a fadeout instead to avoid the sudden end of sound, but this isn´t possible with besweet yet.

and i'm writing a preview in my house first cos
my english is horrible!

the "solution" is more or less simple but
works with predition....audio and video fade in and out.

yup, that will definatly work, but it kinda defeats the "automated-ness" of DVD2SVCD. One would hope that someone could decipher the BeSweet fade-in plugin and write a suitable fade-out plugin to use with it. Then the choice to fade the audio in and out could be added as a checkbox with dropdown(for fade amounts) in DVD2SVCD.

Thanks for your effort, jorel! I´m sure someone will find this useful. But for me personally it would take too long. As pacohaas has stated, the automation of dvd2svcd gets fully lost. And btw i don´t like the idea of encoding the audio twice with another program than besweet.
