i am tryin to backup the Blade 2 DVD and when ever i try to start the conversion in IC, i get the following error msg and then i get kicked back to the main IC start page:

UDF Library Error: 1792 (0x00000700)

anyone know what that means? i did a search for "udf library error" in the forum, but didn't find anything. at first, i tried to adjust the video percentage, but i get the same error when i don't touch anything and then try to encode.

what region is it?, if it's regiojn 2 what's the DVD no.?. I have the 2 disc EDV9098 (http://www.blackstar.co.uk/video/item/7000000072789)

exactly where does it crash?

when it's just starting analysising or during analysing?

have you ripped the complete DVD and fed a complete version to IC to see if that works if you arn't already doing so?

njoy!

exactly where does it crash?right after i select which audio/video i want...also, i rebooted and it came up w/ an error sayin the "Pinnacle driver needed to be fixed" or something like that...it then said that it fixed it and wanted me to reboot again....did that and still got the same error.

when it's just starting analysising or during analysing?it analyzes the files and then pops into the audio/video selection....i then hit OK (or whatever the button is to start) and then runs for about 2 seconds and bombs out w/ that error.

I got this and found my error was due to daemon tools crashing - well not exactly crashing, but doing something strange with the virtual drive. Unmounting drives in daemon, closing down, rebooting cured it.

If this isn't it, you have'nt upgraded to 7.0.1.114 and used the reg from hooz have you?

aiight...i just re-loaded my machine from a ghost image i had and Blade 2 now works....weird...i don't remember installin anything new on that box after IC that could have caused that error.

wonder how that "reg file" could have caused this 2 weeks after i updated to 1.114 and since it's was working fine up until last nite....just plan freaky :).

ARRRRRRRRGH!!!! it's doing it AGAIN! what the f**k is wrong w/ this P.O.S.?!? and pinnacle's freakin support is no help whatsoever....sheesh.

sorry to get heated about this, but the only thing i installed this time was NERO 5.x.x.x...i uninstalled that, then rebooted and still NOTHING! man, i've got like 4 DVD9's on my drive right now ready to back up and i'd like IC to do it  .

have you tried doing them without the IC upgrade? The "reg form hooz" is refering to this thread

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=285060#post285060

The reg needs editing to remove a few things which refer specifically to hooz's settings. Just an idea anyway.
