Using DVD2SVCD.
Trying to convert 2-sided movie to 3 or 4 CDs. Is there a good tutorial anyone can point me to?
Situation: am trying to DVD2SVCD/TMPGEnc (CQ-very slow) the Directors Cut of DAS BOOT, a 2-sided 209 minute movie. I initially tried ripping .vob files to two separate folders and renumbering the second set and copying to the same folder. But the initial .ifo file indicated a movie, the length of which was only length of the first half.
Then I tried converting each side into 2 separate 2-disk movies. This resulted in Side 1's files being converted into a 805mb & 740mb .bin files, while Side 2 converted into 806mb and 848mb .bin files--way too big to burn.
So I would like to try to place all .vob files into one for=lder and convert the movie to 4 equal sized .bin files.
Could you point me in the right direction? I've converted about 100 movies in thelast year but this is the longest one and the first one to give me these fits.
