I've tried everything to get AC 3 to pass through the SPDIF connector on the back of my sound card to my Dolby Digital enabled stereo. I've gone through all the guides, installed all the filters, played with that program graph edit which I don't fully understand, installed other filters from other web sites, but I still can't get my receiver to pick up the signal as Dolby Digital. I'm using ac3filter. The only program that I get it to show a signal from six channels is powerdivx but then ac3filter will not let me select the SPDIF out from my sound card. Before anyone comments, I do have SPDIF enabled on my sound card, and I'm running an M--Audio revolution sound card on an Intel platform. I would prefer to use zoom Player because my television is my only display and I want to be able to use a television remote.
I searched my computer for the file iviaudio.ax and came up with 10 different versions of it. Which one do I use? My DVD software is intervideo windvd.
This five-day to post a rule sucks. I had already done research for a week and a half before I tried to post, then I got stuck waiting an extra five days. Now I'm really frustrated. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.
