I eliminated dvd2svcd to see if that was a related to a problem I had, which it wasn't I reinstalled the bundle and TMPGE and now when I convert a file I don't get the finished product. It seems the program is going thru the same motions but not finished mpeg1. Here is my reading.

Did you remember to load the VCD-Settings.ini file that if you use mpeg-1 you should be using?

Are you keeping your bitrates VCD compliant? 1150 Video CBR, 224 Audio.

If not you need to manually alter the bbmpeg settings on the mux and that is only bu trial and error. It all depends on what your bitrate seetings are.

Thanks Mark, but I had no problems originally with my adjusted settings until I uninstalled everyting and reinstalled it. It goes through the comple sequence, takes all the normal time but there is no completed mpeg1 file. Yes, I loaded the mpeg 1 thingy. I installed the dvd2svcd bundle and the tmpgenc file.

Mark, I feel like such a _ _ _ _. It was converting it all along, but the file image is not the usual video camera look so I thought it wasnt' there. How do I get it back to a video camera look file?
