You might want to do some more research, then repost your request.
IFOedit (0.95) will NOT, properly author a NTSC (Pulldown) DVD.
Its a well known BUG, the timestamps will be wrong, IE.. The movie might be 1 hour long but after reauthoring it in IFOedit it will be a few minutes shorter in the DVD display timer. This makes the chapter points a real pain.

Also, learn about DAEMON tools, you can create a Fake virtual DVD drive and do all the beta testing you want, by yourself. You can create a .ISO of the image, mount it, and play it in a software DVD player all day.

ok, Let me pull my head out of ars. Hope we didnt get off on the wrong foot. I would be glad to help beta test the app, please post the link to download it. I have a pioneer 2x burner, princo 1x media, and some DVDrw's to test on. Please specify the movie you want tested so everyone can control the tests. Also, you say that the time error is due to IFOedit's way of creating the IFO, but wouldnt it be the internal timestamp that is in the packet stream? Isnt IFOedit just using a incorrect rate when muxing? Perhaps some PAL rate? Because if you take the raw audio and video and mux it in both IFOedit and maestro, play the output VOB, not using the IFO, just load the VOB manually, isnt the time still wrong?

I played it on my Cyberhome DVD 500.
I still get the wrong times, but everything else seems fine.
Running it over Bluesbrothers right now.

I'd like to know if the problem with the incorrect display time could be fixed by encoding with "drop frame timecode" for NTSC in CCE 2.66/2.67 (check "DF" right to the time code in Encode Settings). I can't test myself because of lack of NTSC titles (Germany).

What is your download speed...
Is sucking a 2Gig or so NTSC movie over the net an option for you?

i tried to re-encode Oceans 11 R2, i used dvd decrypter and ripped the whole dvd to my hard drive, then opened it in ifoedit and followed all the guides to rip out unwanted streams, vob-ids, etc. i then opened the vts set that had the main movie in dvd2avi and created an avs, then loaded it in docce4u. Finally i re-muxed it in ifoedit and it didnt work, it wrote the vob files and everything , but when i tried to play it in my software dvd player the video would start normally but when i tried to skip forward or select a chapter, it was out of sync and it think it only played the i-frames or something because it only played 2 frames out of the 25fps.

Is this the problem that you are talking about, because it happend with a pal dvd. I would use the scenarist method but i dont have it, and i am not going to ask for it on the forums :eek: (incidently is it daikin scenarist nt that every one uses)

Remember me Mozart? We both use to be mods over in DVD2SVCD forum way back when. I just started getting into dvd burning about 2 months ago.

I just tried dvd2dvd-r about 2 or 3 days ago again. 1.45 had major synch issues so when 1.48 came out I thought I'd give it another go.

I would really like to try out your pulldownmod.exe and see for myselef if it corrects the IFOEDIT / NTSC issue. I'd be glad to host it on my site.
