i was wondering if anyone knew how to have 1 frame of the video stay on screen for aproximately 50 to 100 frames worth of time or is there someway to make 1 frame 100 frames or something of the sort?? im encoding with divx5 and i use virtuadub and dvd2avi and all that. could it be done with adobe premiere? i have never used it but i certainly would if it could solve this. thanks

Chris LaRosa (http://www.geocities.com/cplarosa/video/) has written a nice filter called frame tweaker that can do exactly this.
You'll have to write a new file with something like the following in it:1 COPY
2-100 PASTE
