I recently purchased the whole series of blackadder made by the BBC.
It comes in 3 DVD's. Each DVD has around 10 titles. The first 6 or seven titles are the episodes, so every episode is a title and the rest are the extras and menus etc..
For fun I used instantcopy for a backup, the quality was bad it had to squeeze 8 GB of movie into 4.38, so the compression rate was below 50%. It was expected.
So I said let me use instantcopy 2 times, once I choose the first 3 titles with the menu, and the second time the rest of the titles.
The result was, that the first DVd works OK, but the second does not because it keeps on looking for title 1 which is not there.
Anyone has any idea how to solve this?
I also used DVDxcopy for that purpose to put it on 2 dvd's, but it does not detect all the titles.

Many Thanks

looks like you have a fussy standalone

try this link http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49430

and take the time to browse through the links on the page and you will see the possible errors in using IC to remove Titles and other stuff to watch out for

especially page 3 on grievance number 3 HERE (http://www.deano.dsl.pipex.com/backup/titlesNONO3.htm)

you can basically split the DVD keeping menu's etc but you must ensure that what you removed is correctly accounted for by either updating IFO or replacing the VOB's

it can be done with a little work :)

p.s. do the 3 Titles + menu's not fit onto 2 DVD's without any compression

are the Titles in individual VOB's or in a whole VOBSET

Thank you MisterX for your answer.
The 3 titles + menus fit on one dvd.
The titles are in a whole VOB set.
I tried to split the DVD using IFOedit and guess what?
it created 2 sub directories, disk 1 had a copy of the DVD and disk 2 had a VOB of 100k. Very funny.
