uyvy? yuy2?

Please someone educate me on the differance between uyvy and yuy2 . Thanks

Thanks . I suppose I should have aked differently . In dvd workshop I have a choice to capture using uyvy or yuy2 . What are the differences it would produce from each? Is one more desirable to use than the other or does it depend , if so on what does it depend . Thanks again

i guess you have this choice when you capture;
so it's like this....
asus cards (and philips capture chips obviously)
use uyvy
bt chips use yuy2......
