Hello!
Im having problems with green subs after dvd2one proscess using IFOedit too create new ifos.

I have tried both jdobbs guide here and Barrys guide at DVDRhelp (sorry that i mentioned that) both guides includes steps where you create new ifos for your vobs.
When I have done this and selected the new files in dvd2one it ends up with green subs.

If I use the original ifo in dvd2one it ends up nice and smooth but then the problem is that its a 2 PGC title and IFOupdate is failing.

If I compare original VTS_01_0.ifo with IFOedit created VTS_01_0.ifo the color tables isnt matching.

original VTS_01_0.ifo color

I just got it to work!!! :))

I manually copied the color information into the IFOedit created ifo using IFOedit.

If someone know how I can automate this please respond.

you shouldn't have to create new Ifo's as DVD2One does all this or are you rebuilding the DVD?

when you create new Ifo's you must copy the subs info across, don't think there is any automatic way to fix this but it's not that hard to do anyway and you now know how to do it :D

It's great that you know how to do it manually now.:D But if you didn't notice, look topside at IFoedit's Title Bar. There's a "Subtitle Color" pulldown menu. Press that and PRESTO!:D

Still, I am confused on why you have green fuzzy subtitles after using DVD2One. Yours may be a rare case.

Hey Guys!

@MisterX
Yes I´m rebuilding the complete DVD on a dvd5.
I read in a thread where jdobbs said exactly where to find the color tables and the manual copying was done in a couple of minutes. :)

@2COOL
Nice menu it makes it much easier. :)
Im a bit confused about why the subs end up green too.
As I see it it seems that IFOedit cant recreate the color tables. Jdobbs said in a thread that this shouldnt happen but it does, I have tried several dvds with this subtitle problem.
(the thread: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46770&perpage=20&highlight=pgc2&pagenumber=1)

BTW: This isnt a problem if the movie is a single pgc, I can in that case skip the part where I create new ifos for my vobs and just use the original set in dvd2one, then update with IFOupdate.

I read your thread (Multi-episode DVDs a success with DVD2One v1.0.1) where you are doing what I am trying to here except that you dont create new ifo´s.
Can your process be done on a 2pgc title?
I´ve tried but if the original ifo is a 2PGC it cant be updated with the 1PGC ifo that dvd2one created.

Thanks for your help!!

I´ve tried but if the original ifo is a 2PGC it cant be updated with the 1PGC ifo that dvd2one created.

In a case when you encounter a multi-PGC title then here's a quick guide for you.

_________________________________________
1. Put all your titlset VOBs into a separate folder.
_________________________________________
2. Use IFOedit to create new IFOs. Select these options.
Create 1 PGC Only
Create Chapter for each Cell
_________________________________________
3. Rename the VOBs to VTS_01 as creating new IFO in IFOedit produces a VTS_01_0.IFO. Do this if you weren't working on VTS_01.
_________________________________________
4. Process through DVD2one in movie only mode with calculated size and when done, you should have new IFOs and BUPs with new VOBs.
_________________________________________
5. Rename the VOBs to VTS_01 as creating new IFO in IFOedit produces a VTS_01_0.IFO. Do this if you weren't working on VTS_01.
_________________________________________
6. Drag only your DVD2one VOBs into your original movie folder. You may need to rename them as it's original VTS_* if it's different now.
_________________________________________
7. Open IFOupdate. Ensure in your Options above you have these 3 checked.

Files_____Options______________________Mode_______________Settings___Help
.........AutoCorrect VTS Sectors.....Adjusted Cell Mode
.........AutoAnalyze Original IFO

For your original IFO Path: Browse to your movie IFO in your original folder.
Authored IFO: Browse to your IFO in your DVD2one folder
Backup IFO: Just press your browse folder and press Open.
_________________________________________
8. Press Update IFO and then press yes to correct VTS Sectors.
_________________________________________
9. Go to your original folder and play your movie in IFoedit.

This should work.
