WDM in VDub

Forgive the ignorance, but is there any word on whether VDub will support WDM capturing in the future?

How about a timer built into the program?

A way to save a list of filters that you frequently use?

There is a WDM wrapper available for virtualdub (I found a link at the dvdrhelp.com tools section).

However, some people contend that it is "Buggy".

I wonder why people still ask for a VirtualDub timer for captures. I posted this many times:
