I have a number of episodes of a tv show in mpeg format, 6 in total. I want to merge them, demux them, then eventually burn them to dvd. The problem is one of the episodes has a static twitch noise and when I play it in a player the sound goes out after the twitch noise, and after I merge the epsisodes and play them, the point at which the sound occurs, the sound goes out for the rest of the episode and then returns for the next episodes. If I demux the episode by itself, the auido is fine. I have been using AVI MPEG RM joiner to merge the mpegs, but I have also tried Tmpgenc and the results are the same. When I play the file merged with AVI MPEG RM joiner the audio cuts out at the point where the static twich occurs, when I try to demux the audio from the file merged using Tmpgenc, it demux's only the firs episodes worth of audio then craps out.

Are there any tools I can use to correct this audio twitch, tools I can use on the merged file?

Thanks
