Instantcopy and dvd-rw+'s

Hi all, just got my spanking newsony DRU500AX, wanna play with it lol :)

Anywho, it came with 1 rewriteable disc, now I have dvd-decrypter and Instantcopy. If I rip a DVD and let Instant Copy compress and write it to my rewriteable, will I still be able to erase it, or will instant copy 'fubber' it up - making it an expensive write-once dvd?

Final question, when ripping with dvd decrypter, do I use File Mode??
