Hi,

I need some help with the following problem.

I have reencoded and reauthored this DVD. Used CCE and Scenarist as usual. Everything is put back together. SOme of the extras had multiple audio streams, and I only left one audio stream in, and also one subtitle stream. This is the only thing I changed.

Like it said everythins i put together again, opened in ifoedit get vts sectors etc.

In ifoedit's dvd player my DVD play flawlessly. But I burned it back to DVD and now I have problems with SOME (most) of the extras. WHen I play them I get a disk error.

Playing them in Ifoedit gives no problem at all.

Maybe it has something to do with the ifos???

It has everything to do with the dvd-r media quality and burning.

I never had this problem, with the media I'm, using.

What could be the problem is that the disk is really full. It's something like 4,708,134 MB. Maybe that's the problem.

It is possible and well documented that the data in the outer ring of the dvd-r sometimes r not written well.

However I believe that this specific disk is bad from the factory. Is it scratched or dirty at all?

I too have trouble sometimes with individual disks that come pre-scratched for me.

I burned it twice and the problem occurs both times. The disks have no scratches at all. There are also no burning errors or so. I Might try to free some more space to see if this helps. The extras that do not works are relatively smll and located in vts 8 till 11 so maybe it's just a capacity issue.

Although U write that ifoedit plays the structure correctly, is it possible that u have forgotten to include a file that u didn't change at all?

It is quite improbable for the same error to occur twice and be related in the media's quality. This error is originating itself from the actual files and dvd structure.

I'll double check that, but I think I have them all. I think that ifoedit should give some error too.
