I've extracted audio and video from the PS2 game FFX. The video came out as M2V and the audio as 48Khz wav. I need to multiplex these together but TMPGEnc doesn't like the audio or the video format. Scenarist also chokes on the video. Anyone have any ideas where I can start?

Well, the standard mpeg2 stream can't support LPCM audio stream(hope my memory is right), so that's why TMPGEnc kick those component out. And Scenalist NT kick the video out because the size of the video is not 720*480(NTSC). So the first thing u have to do is use dvd2avi to make a project file and then resize the video.

I didn't even have to resize the video. I loaded the video into DVD2AVI and created a regular project like I would for any DVD. Then used VFAPI to get my fake .avi and then encoded as usual with CCE. I used Pulldown.exe to change the framerate to NTSC standard and that was it. Scenarist was fine with the file. My sound is out of sync but I'm sure I'll figure that out with some more tweaking.

of course the audio is out of sync... you changed the framerate...
so you'll just have to ajust the "framerate" of the audio aswell...

iirc you can do this with besweet (not sure though)
