I have seen that if you delete title sets in Instant copy it can screw things up, is it safe to untick audio steams

It wasn't safe to do it before as it used to make a mess of the mapping but with the new update it seems to do the job correctly
I just did the Simpsons and deleted tracks 2 & 3 outta 4 and 1 & 4 are still in the same place and work from the audio menu
if I select stream 2 or 3 from the menu it just plays stream 4
this is just the audio as I cannot confirm what happens with sub removals tho
the other thing I'm not sure about is if you remove the 1st audio/sub stream and what the consequences are with other audio/sub streams so someone else would have to confirm that

Ifoedit is one of the best tools out there, but it can be quite confusing in the hands of an inexperienced user, so that's why I tried to make some easy guides for people to use to make it easier for them and not suffer the same steep learning curve I did :)
If it ain't in the guides check the other Ifoedit guides or just ask but obviously in the Ifoedit forum and chacnes are you will find the answer in there and audio removal will be in a guide somewhere

I have a number of old rips where the single title vob files add up to 5, 6 or 7 GB. The original dvd's are not available. Ifoedit has come in very handy, as a pre-processing tool for IC. First I use Ifoedit to strip out audio streams and subtitles (using Vobextras button). This has not failed me yet. As long as you have the original VIDEO_TS.IFO and VTS_01_0.IFO (or whatever), it has no trouble processing the Vob files and reducing their size (into a new directory). Reload the new VIDEO_TS.IFO and push Get VTS Sectors to finish off the job. (This is optional, I believe, because IC reads the vob files directly when it is re-encoding, and re-generates the sector pointers). Hand off VIDEO_TS.IFO to IC and it does the rest, i.e., compressing the data so it fits onto one dvd.
