Cant frameserve subtitles into TMPGenc...

Alright, not to sound harsh but i did read the rules and the guides provided on the website. Theres no straightforward conection between what to do with either vfapi or virtualdub frameserver and the ifo/srt or whatever to render the subtitles into video. It simply doesnt make sense!!!

I just want to encode a couple SVCDs that i can play on my standalone sony dvd player. I came across all sorts of riddles on the svcd guide and all is okay until the subtitle part... :mad: pls help. Straightforward is the key

well, it was all about to set a higher priority to the directshow filters in tmpeg... but now the problem is that the video output is too bright, when i play it on the standalone player it looks like a brighter black box inside the perfectly black background of the tv. Thus blocks are anoying :rolleyes: , is there a way to fix this without reencoding?

DS filters are not a good idee.
Use DVD2AVI, or Avisynth.
