IfoEdit Documentation/Guides....$5 donation to read, via PainPal

Ok, I don't mind donating $5, hell, I'd donate $20 for that matter. BUT it requires registration with PainPal, and I'm not about to go through that nightmare again. I know it says you can donate without registering with PainPal, BUT it won't let you donate without putting in a PainPal password, and setting up an account.

Now, NONE of the help documents for IfoEdit are available w/o donating the $5(some of them used to be).

How bout setting up a different way to make a donation???????????

If you want to get into the IFOEdit forums there, you have to pay $5. That url is here: http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/Forum/login.php4?page=/Forum/index.php4.

I was thinking of doing it but I didn't want to pay and find out there wasn't much info in there. I didn't see the section where you have to pay for the docs. Hm..

Yeah, it's the links on the IfoEdit.com page that I'm talking about, which link to the MpuCoder site. Btw, I firmly believe that you'll get MORE for your money than you can believe by being able to access the MpuCoder site, so if you have a PainPal account, go for it....................z

hmmm. I didn't know a forum account cost money now. I do believe mpucoder should get something for creating his awsome page about DVDs. Without it we wouldn't have many of the tools we have available today, including IfoEdit itself. Yet, when you need a discussion forum you're better off here and as for guides, most topics are discussed in my guides as well. So, why not post your problem here, this forum is way more frequented than mpucoder's anyway (I verifed that.. I do have an account over there) and mpucoder is a moderator and very active here.

You're right Doom. I do use this site, but was just curious as to what's going on over there, plus Derrow's got all his IfoEdit stuff over there......Didn't Chaplin say he didn't want to belong to any club that would have him....lol....Btw, thanks for having this forum site......it's really excellent overall..............z

Only certain sections of mpucoder.com require membership, and only at certain times of the week. PayPal has assured us that no PayPal/Ebay account is needed. Before doing this the demand was exceeding the capacity for our single server, leaving us with a problem - how to expand and cover the cost. Straight donations were not covering the costs. The net result works for us, the demand and capacity have come to equilibrium at 3 servers online at any time.

Now then, downloads, the DVD information section, and the usage pages are all unrestricted. The guides, which most visitors felt they needed to download 100% using download managers, and is over 7M, is restricted, as is the Beta area.
