When will we see the next release of VirtualDubMod? Is there still someone working on it?

Cyrius and Belgabor are working like crazy, the aim is to get all the additional functionialities of VdubMod ported to the Vdub 1.5.x sourcecode, and this is a huge task as Avery changed a lot from 1.4.x to 1.5.x ...

In this process Cyrius wants to make the OGM ( and also matroska ) implementation much cleaner as it currently is, at least thats what i understand, and there will be Vorbis audio decoding built in for preview mode.

Yeah we are working like crazy :)
There should be some changes between VDubMod 1.4.x and 1.5.x :p

That's right. OGM was just a _big_ hack over AVI features in VDubMod 1.4.x (and the alpha versions with MCF/Matroska support were just another _big_ hack over the OGM hack ;)). I'm trying to make all the code cleaner (in other words I am rewriting everything), with less errors (because cleaner :)) and with some more features (ok this one means maybe there will be some other bugs :p) ... This is why it takes so long.
