On Doom9 we insist on proper titles and from time to time people complain that we are being too strict on this.
None of the rules are made up without a valid reason. For most it's easy to see and respect the majority of the rules, but this one in particular people seem to not understand. It is very simple.
As you know Rule 1a says try a search before posting.
If all the titles say "help me" or "DVD2SVCD problem" when you do this search how in the world would you know if this thread has anything to do with your problem? We all know that the search function can get many hits that has nothing to do with what you are searching for.
In the end it comes down to helping the forum members better navigate and find answers to their problems.
Please have respect for your fellow forum member and help yourself by using a title that reflects the problem the thread contains.
