In DVD2one. With this in mind because of the new version where you can do the entire disk but choose no options.

IFOedit, SmartRipper, or DVD Decrypter. Personal Preference: IFOedit.

But does that actually remove the streams from the Vobs ? Are there any guides for doing just that?

Right Scarpad, I haven't downloaded new version, but has someone tried to strip unwanted audio and transcoded a successful "full copy"?

The "official" DVD2one forum reports a number of bugs, especially with WXP OS. Now everyone will have something new to whine about with ver 1.1.0 :eek:

Well, I'm using WinXP SP1 and I didn't get a first crash on my first movie but it's still early to knock on wood.

There's a lot of small guides around if you do a search.

You'll find your answer in this guide to strip out unwanted audio and subtitles.

on 4 different occasions, I removed some of the audio streams (ifo mode in dvddecrypter) prior to dvd2one transcoding. the resulting size was over the magic 4.38 GB. i can get to 4.38GB by using only the file mode (have done 50+ DVDs in file mode with NO problems or crashes). using ifo mode in dvddecrypter and then using dvd2one has been consistently UNRELIABLE. The progress bar goes over 100% (in 1 case it went as much as 125%).

i used the following procedure:
- use ifo mode in dvddecrypter & rip
- use ifoedit to create new ifo files
- get vectors
- run dvd2one

any suggestions?
