I tried Windows Media Encoder 7.1 long like a year ago and quality wasn't that good as compared to DivX.
How is the quality of the enocded movies at 352x240 resolution and 350k bitrate. and 640x480 at 2000k bitrate as compared to DivX5 and Xvid?
I'm interested in WME because I remember when I use 7.1 I use to do video cap with my WinTV and the a/v sync was perfect (I was using realtiem compression)
and when I use it to encode files the a/v Sync was dead on perefect. but overall image quality was noticablely not as good as Divx. (that's version 7.1)
I seem to have A/V sync problems with Vdub and Divx. so looking for an alternative.
How is the quality of Version 9 from anyone that have any experience with it?
