Here is the information from my file

File : 248 Mb (248 Mb), duration 1:38:08, type AVI, 1 audio stream(s), quality 12 %

Video : 209 Mb, 297 Kbps, 14.985 fps, res. 352*240 (4:3), MP43 = MS MPEG4 V3, Supported

Audio : 39 Mb, 56 Kbps, 24000 Hz, 2 chan., 0x55 = Lame MP3 encoder (ACM), Supported

Now as you can see the frame rate is 14.985 and avi2svcd can not handle this and changes it.

When it comes out the audio is really slow, but it is in sync. Obviously this is because its matching the audio with the new frame rate. Anyone any experience in thinking!

Hope you can help

If you have a file in this format dont bother using avi2svcd as it will not work.

All you need is nero with the mpeg2 to vcd plugin and drag and drop

This manages to encode the video to play on either vcd or svcd. So some how it manages to change the frame rate without altering the sound. You have to love Nero.

Cheers anyways.
