i seem to be having a problem i keep transcoding avi's to mpg2 and rencoding my vcd's and everytime the video stream is turning out to be about 10 to 15 minutes longet in duration not sure why or how is there any wayt o figure this out or fix this?:confused:

Man, this is a classic example of the NO useful information post. But, since you are asking for a mind reader and you don't say whether PAL or NTSC, I'll take one stab and absolutely make a guess that it is NTSC. Play your original source in WMP 6.4. Right click and select statistics. Does framerate and actual frame rate differ? Example: Framerate says 29.97 Actual says 23.980? If so go study what pulldown means.
