Hi, new to this stuff, so please be patient.

Downloaded Instantcopy trail, installed it, but it will not run.
i.e. open Instantcopy via Start menu, get the egg timer icon for a few seconds then nothing happens!, try various different methods; no go.

Any help appreciated

Yes, I agree with ZeroLimit. Make sure that you uninstall that program using windows uninstaller. (Oh, Are you using Windows?)Anyway, after you reboot, after you reboot, after you reboot, (I did not repeat myself 3 times for no reason :) ) go to program files directory and be sure to delete the "Instant CD+DVD" directory and remove it from your recycle bin. Then re-install the program ONLY after you disable any virus protection software that is running. That should work for you and get you up and running. Please be sure to read threads throughout this forum for tweeks and tips on setting up your program and should you like it and decide you want to buy the full version, it is available online with a $20.00 mail-in rebate. Your total final cost will be about $21.00. Well worth the investment!

Good Luck!

Tried several times by uninstalling and re-installing, still no go. Get the egg timer when opening IC then nothing happens, but PC starts to act funny and eventually crashes, requiring full reset and reboot!

Need to try it first before buying!

Helllpppp

Perform the steps outlined in my previous thread but this time BEFORE you re-install, CTRL ALT DEL. Tell me what applications and process you have running. Also, where did you download your trial version from? I can tell you that I have received reports from others that claim there is a warez version of IC that is corrupt and it performs in the same way that you discribe.

Thanks for the above help.

Followed what you suggested and managed to get trial version sort of running (Trial period expired!!!)- downloaded for Pinnacle site. Borrowed a copy of IC7 from a mate (full version Build 0039?) and guess what, does the same as the trial version, egg timer and eventually crashes PC Etc.
Uninstalled, reinstalled still no go.

:(

Checked if any tasks running before install all clear, and after install all clear.

Running Windows XP Pro 5.1 (Build 2600)
