When I'm using Fast Recompress, I always get 16 bit video
The only way I can get 24 bit video is to use Full Processing.
Is there a way to use Fast Recompress and get 24 bit video ??
I am using Avisynth 2.51, ConvertToYUY2()

If you use VirtualDub and fast recompress, the process stays in YUY2 which is 16 bit. In full processing mode it is converted to RGB24 which is 24 bit (I thought it was RGB32, but I guess I misremember that).

If you had done a search before posting you would have this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13431&highlight=16bit+24bit) thread.
Funny how your thread titles are almost identical :)

Acaila,
thanks for the link
I DID do a search, but the search engine has a 3 character limitation
so it will not search for 16
"...16 is under the minimum word length (3) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer."

Well, threads which contain 16 don't really tell you anything about your problem even if it did work, now would it? Far too general.
That's why you use "16bit" or "24bit" or both (like the name of your thread for instance).

my search string was something like "16 bit vs. 24 bit"
it didn't accept the space, that is why i removed the spaces for my thread title.
