Lost the sound

I'm fairly new to this process, but I've been successfully burning DVDs for several weeks. I've encountered a strange problem with the movie Predator. After I copy the VOBs onto my computer with DVD decrypter and try to play them on PowerDVD, I can't hear any sound and I get an error message that tells me my sound card is improperly installed. The original DVD plays just fine.

I went ahead and took the process to completion, and sure enough, the final burned DVD has no sound. I haven't had this problem with any of the 10 or so other DVDs I've burned.

Any suggestions?
