error "cannot open for writing"

IfoEdit gives me this error everytime I try to author a dvd with an M2V and AC3 file.
What does this error mean?
Is it that the files I'm using are bad or is it that IfoEdit is malfunctioning? The program promptly shuts down after this messege.

Check your destination directory.
It must be wrong.

Problem resolved, Derrow. Thanks much.
As it were, my destination directory wasnt wrong, it just seems that IfoEdit doesn't like to use a root directory(in my case D:\) as a destination. All I did was point it to a created folder on the D drive and it worked fine.
Maybe a glitch, maybe not. As long as it works I'm a happy man.
