Hi MisterX

Have read your guide on burning with Nero, just curious why is it necessary to go through as well the UDF compilation as the DVD-video compilation as you described ?

(PS other recommend, as you do, to uncheck Joliet when burning DVD, don't know why, do you know why be this is better, default Joliet is checked when you install Nero)

good point but I got mixed up as I use a .nrd compilation and always have and I'm yet to come across a standalone that refuses a DVD

I stuck the 1st page in as I don't know if it had any affect on the .nrd compilation by setting it to 1.02 as that's the 1st thing I did when I installed Nero ages ago, but I've heard that Nero uses 1.05 by default using DVD-VIDEO so I'm not sure what the DVD-VIDEO uses when I burn

you could just create a template (.nrc) using the 1st page of guide to set it up and then adding the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders. Save that as a .nrc compilation blank template. For every job open the template and drop the files in the same way as the guide. I may just update my guide to show this way

what is the exact difference between 1.02 & 1.05 apart from the compatiability issue and how can I check to see what my Nero is using when I use DVD-VIDEO template. Would be nice to find out the difference as I've always wondered :)
