I did a backup of Attack of the Clones (Star Wars 2) with DVD2One and when I went to play it back (burnt in Nero) it only worked in 50 percent of players I tried. It worked on my PC, it worked on my set top DVD player, and it worked on my PS2. It didn't work on my friends set top DVD player, didn't work on his PC, didn't work on my parents set top DVD player. Any ideas why this may be ? I thought maybe it was the disc media, but back ups I have done with Instant Copy using the same disc media work on all the drives.
Could it be Nero at fault or DVD2One ? I check the disc and all the files are there, and both the audio and video folders. Also as it works in 50 percent of tried drives, I guess it is okay to some extent.
