Hi-
If I understand you correctly: See over on the right side of the Bitrate Tab? Under Total File Size, it might say 700 MB (as an example). And say your end credits are 10 MB. Then you erase 700 MB and replace it with 690 MB, and the Average Bitrate and Video Size adjusts downward.
It's not quite as easy as that because once you've filled in the Audio Size and the Overhead, you can't just erase the 700 MB. You'll erase one number and type in another, erase one number..., but you get the idea.

I have create a Bitrate Calc. in Javascricpt for this problem ! (zipped size: 2KB :) ) It is based on the GKnot calculation (thanx to The WEF) and it 99,9% perfect ! (I used for 20 times). If you need it drop an email to me (chros@freemail.hu)
It was tested on WinXP, IE6, Mozilla 1.x (the "public release" is a bit further, 'cause I have no time to test in Win9x)
ps: I have created it, because I use GKnot as a GUI to create *.avs script, and I do everything manually ... And when I have encoded the credit, I had to recalculate the bitrate :)
Sorry for my english

In GKnot, click 'Add' under 'Files' (next to audio bitrates). Add your credits file. Then change the # of frames to the amount for the main movie. There you go, that's all that is required. Leave total output size and everything else alone.
