This is the error that I'm receiving from Scenarist:

Error : Number of fields (38) in GOP(# 5) or between sequence_header_code should be equal or smaller than 36.

The movie is Signs. I used dvdDecryptor to rip each PGC (2 of them) to my HD. Ran Dvd2Avi on both PGC's and then Ran CCE to encode them and then used pulldown. When importing them into Scenarist I receive the error? I did do a search here in the forums on the subject but I really didnt see an answer to how to fix this. What should the settings be when using CCE? I was using the Getting the Best out of CCE method and it has the GOP at 4 does this need to be a 3 then? Also when using pulldown i just type this:

pulldown movie.mpv
then it creates a pulldown.m2v file and I import that into Scenarist. Please help me with what option I need to encode so that Scenarist accepts the file. Otherwise Ill have to go back to using Maestro :) it likes them at least.

Thanks!

This is a bug from CCE present until version 2.62.
From version 2.64 and more, the bug have been corrected.

I've got the same problem, until a change CCE from 2.62 to
2.64.

I'm using CCE 2.66 and I just saw this error message for the first time. I'm also new to using scenarist. I imported the exact same file into Maestro and it didn't complain at all.
The only thing new I'm doing is I'm unchecking 'dvd compliant', since the guides all say you should uncheck that or it uses 98xxx as the max bit rate instead of what you put (8xxxx)

I guess I'll use maestro for this one..but it sure would be nice to know why scenarist won't accept this m2v file. i used pulldown on it since it was progressive and needs 2:3 pulldown.
