I need to adjust the first header of a VOB ID buried within a VTS VOB file...how can I extract it?(then I will use DVDPAtcher to change the first header), and then rejoin it back into the VOB...
thanks

thanks...this I knew already...I had searched the forums but never found the exact instructions on how to do what you state below...there is no sticky guide to VOBEDIT....by experiment I ultimately found out the exact steps( in detail for those who might want them):

1. Determine the VOB ID with Vobrator that I need to change (knew this already) by loading each VTS_x_y.VOB and previewing to find the VOBID of the clips' that the authoring program had merged and which I needed to change the resolution header back to SVCD format for proper replay.(alternatively do the steps below for EVERY VTS file and check each VOBID header for correctness).
2.Open the VTS_x_y.VOB subfile containing the VOBID with VOBEDIT.
3.Select Demux, then check "VOB ID" and run....results are obvious..a vob file (VTS_X_00x.VOB)for each VOBID in the VTS_X_Y.VOB
4.Use DVDPAtcher to change header of each back to correct resolution.
5.Select File menu pulldown on VOBEDIT. Select "Join clips". Enter the VTS_X_Y.VOB you demuxed as the target with its VOBID = first one in the original VTS_X_Y.VOB.
6. Delete intermediate files created in #2 steps.
7. Repeat for other VTS files, if necessary.
8. Burn DVD
