I'm backing up Shaft which I am doing movie only and the movie is still too big to put onto one dvd after I strip it. :angry: I really don't want to put it on two dvds because the movie is barely over the size limit. I don't own CCE so no help there. What is the best way to get this movie onto a single dvd? :confused:
Thanks.

Hy,
you could try Dvd2one! But i prefer the CCE method.

I thought about using dvd2one but I quit using it because I thought that I see too much video quality loss. I will probably end up splitting the movie or I may get CCE. Is CCE easy to use?

There's also DVD95Copy, which to me, gives a better quality in video.

Did you try cutting off the end credits? You can do that fairly easily with SmartRipper.

in a lot of cases, deleting unwanted audio & subtitle streams usind dvd2one may also work. if the video after removing the streams will fit on a DVD, DVD2one wont transcode the video (i.e. will preserve the original quality).

@2cool
Thanks, I will give DVD95Copy a try. I need to research it some first.
@Scarabus
No I haven't. I actually like keeping the end credits. Just a personal preference.

I believe this one will still be too big even after stripping. Sometimes I like to deselect everything in Instant Copy just to get an idea of how big the movie will still be and this one looked like it would still go over one disc.
