I've been hearing alot about this method and am thinking about giving it a try. Can someone explain exactly what this template for docce4u will do?
From what I've read, what is supposed to be done by hand is using the SelectEvery call in avisynth to get 1% of the film, and estimate your q value off of this small clip and your desired file size. Would your q value you come up with go into the 'quality' field of docce4u then? Only 1 pass is needed, correct? So what all does docce4u actually do for you in regards to the robshot-bach method?
If i'm way off base here, someone please point me in the right direction :)
