help: suddenly divx5/gknot dont work

been using gknot for quite a while now and suddenly this:
encoding process finishes immediately (not including besweet process) with this:

btw, this is almost exactly what happens when one tries to work with divx5.03 and gknot. but i used 5.02. I already reinstalled everything and nothing works. i am doing the exact same thing i've been doing for almost a year with success.

any ideas?

A search (http://forum.doom9.org/search.php?s=) would have told you that this error message has TWO major sources: 1) as you say because v5.02 isn't installed and 2) when the .avs is incorrect. In your case you claim to have checked #1 so the #2 remains. Post the .avs and then we'll see how it looks. Most common reason for error is that GKnot produces invalid crop valuse: all numbers must be even, and preferrably mod-4.
