Changing NTSC to PAL in Title Sets?

I have a NTSC DVD. What would happen if I changed all my video attributes in all my IFOs to PAL? I wonder if this would this play without problems in a PAL only standalone? Just a thought to put out there. It's probably a stupid question.

No, it's not that simple. The video must also conform to PAL standards for resolution and framerate.
