When i enter a folder with avi files in, win XP start to list movie lenght and resolution for each avi clip in the folder, and it makes my computer work slower, if i run a Xvid it lags because explorer is listing the avi clips in the background, and if i close the folder the movie stops lagging. Can i turn of the function so that xp does not read the lenght and res. for the movies in the explorer window?
Thanks in Advance, Anders

you can try this:
1.Go to 'View' menu in Explorer
2.Click 'Choose Details'
3.Unclick 'Duration' and 'Dimensions'in the Details box
Hope this helps
