They are generic CompUSA brand DVD-R's. I didn't buy them but I heard from someone on Anandtech that they were just generics.

There's over 7 different manufacturers of 'generic' DVD-R discs, all with various quality outputs, so a manufacturer id would be real handy.

Gooki is right.... I have had no complaints about the "generic" Sonys that I got at PCClub.... just b/c they're Generic donesn't mean they're not worth it. Just as markrb said, some ADVDINFO would be nice please.

ADVDINFO is found where? only thing i see is numbers on the inner ring.

Go to write mode in DVD Decrypter, it'll give you an ID on the media.

I used to use these before I found Ritek. I could never get them to burn at 2x, but they worked in everything I tried them in at 1x (except PS2)

LD01 = Lead Data Generation 01. Used to sell for as little as $0.70 each a few months back at various online stores.

yeah if you want generic you can easily get under $1 each if you buy them in bulk, check out www.pricewatch.com
