Help? How to make chapters for the movie?

the ORIGINAL movie does not have chapter. How do you make a chapter for it and burn to DVD-R.

The answer to this all depends on the way you go about creating the DVD and which software you are using... so you might want to be a bit more specific in describing what the exact problem is you're facing.

In Scenarist you can create chapters quite easily using the track editor and simulation window. Find the place you want the chapter to start in the sim. then in the track editor click on the button for adding a chapter (the button with "clap" thing they use at the start of filming... you know.... "scene 2, take 13" "And... action!" *CLAP!*) :D
Repeat for next chapters

Only AFTER that add you're track to the DVD layout (or you chapters might not work).

I think you can use the very good and very cheap IFOEDIT to import a celltime.txt
I did never try this but it can be easy to find an existing thread about it.

With authoring tools (like reelDVD or SpruceUP) you can navigate through the video and set chapter breaks. it's easier with reelDVD
